This customer came to us through a recommendation, which is great.
They wanted to replace their existing bath with a large spacious walk in shower, that would make bathing easier, safer and generally more enjoyable.
We also planned to fit a lovely, warm cushioned vinyl floor and add a couple of functional chrome grab handles.
We can do this type of job from start to finish and it doesn’t necessarily necessitate doing the rest of the bathroom, so this helps to keep costs down.
At the outset, we provided a free quotation highlighting what could be done within the constraints of the available space, heating system, bathroom layout etc.
This helped the customer see exactly where their hard earned money would be going.
We planned the work so that the customer would not be without their toilet & basin for the duration of the work which helped to limit disruption, and made the installation a bit less stressful for them.
We showed the customer similar jobs (below) that we had done before so they could visualise the final result and know what they were getting before they went ahead (we also have local showrooms for our customers to physically see the suite items if they so choose.)
We matched up their existing tiles (and mosaics) without the customer having to leave their house.
This is only possible as we know the local market very well (who sells what tiles and where).
This alone probably saved the customer two weekends trekking round showrooms or ordering samples off the internet to try and find a match!
We procured the new shower, tray and enclosure from our local suppliers, saving the customer time and giving them the reassurance of knowing that if anything was wrong with the delivery, we would sort it out for them.
We then provided a turn key installation to bring the plan to life, without the need for the customer to deal with lots of different tradespeople independently.
Even a simple job like this one usually requires aspects of the following skills or trades:
We used three tradesmen on this job to cover all of the work required, mainly plumbing, tiling, vinyl floor fitting and a bit of joinery
We handled all the contractors, materials, deliveries, suppliers, waste disposal and everything else that was required to complete the work.
Much less stressful for the customer, and lots of time saved running around sourcing and then managing a team of disparate tradesmen!
The final result is a shower that looks like it’s always been there and will improve the customers bathing immeasurably.
