Project managed bathroom, en suite & downstairs loo installations

Downstairs Loo With Wall Hung WC & Concealed Storage

All work carried out by ukbathroomguru.com

What we do

We install quality bathrooms from start to finish, with all the bits in between taken care of.

We provide advice and guidance during a free site survey, and we have a blog with lots of articles that cover frequently asked questions and show you examples of our recent work.

We install bathrooms from start to finish, supplying all the necessary trades and project managing the whole process, so you don’t have to! We normally supply & fit bathroom suites but in this example we fitted a customer supplied suite.

We work to detailed, itemised estimates with fixed costs, so you can budget properly without fear of unexpected skyrocketing prices.

Our focus is on doing a proper job for a fair price in a reasonable time – see here for more info or contact me for a quote.

Recent Downstairs Cloakroom Case Study

Bathroom Wall

A false stud wall was built out at the end of the room which would:

  1. a) hide the supporting frame for the wall hung toilet
  2. b) provide room for a custom made storage cupboard above the toilet

Bathroom Storage

The recessed cupboard was manufactured & fitted in place and the wall was plasterboard ready for skimming.

A wall hung basin was installed and the concrete floor prepared for tiling.

Bathroom Work

The plasterboard wall was then skimmed and the floor tiled with large format porcelain tiles.

Bathroom Painting

The walls were then decorated and a tiled splashback was added behind the basin, as well as tiled upstands which replaced the existing skirting boards.

Bathroom Towel Radiator

A new towel radiator was added to the wall opposite the wall hung basin, and the wall hung WC and flush plate were fitted.

Custom made glass shelving was added to the wall cabinet and doors were fitted.

Bathroom

Mirrors were custom cut to fit the doors exactly and small discreet handles were added.

Concealed bathroom storage

The cupboard was made so that when it was closed the mirrored doors were flush to the wall so the storage space behind seemed to be ‘set back’ into the wall.

Summary

All this was done in about 1.5 weeks, during which time we were also doing another bathroom in the house.

Please get in touch if you would like to work together.
